This sketchbook is handbound using unwaxed blue cotton thread in a Coptic stitch. The cover is wrapped in silkscreened Chiyogami paper with a gold, blue, green, and black nature motif. The endpapers are made from the same paper as the inside.
The body of this sketchbook is made of 64 pages / 32 sheets of 100% recycled, pure white, acid-free sketchbook paper. This paper is fine tooth and smooth to the touch. It's suitable for pencil, charcoal, watercolor (light washes), ink, acrylics, and pastels.
This binding method allows this book to open and lay perfectly flat for ease of use.
